Anonymous: lately i haven't been able to believe in god, what do I do about this

we all have to fight for our faith, pray for it, ask for it. It is not easy. But don’t be discouraged, we all go through times where we doubt, we forget what God has done and what He is doing. Our flesh cannot see so we don’t believe, even when our souls know. In Mark 9:14-29 a father literally cries out to Jesus saying, “Lord help my unbelief.” Even though literal physical Jesus was in front of Him, he did not believe. Likewise, we have the spirit in us, and we need help with our unbelief.
Praying for Christ to reveal himself through His spirit and word to you. He is closer than you know. He is emmanuel, God with you, He goes before you, he is for you, nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ, you are hidden in Christ, you are precious, honoured, loved. You are called to make disciples. You are able to endure this life as you fix your eyes on Christ in all of his goodness. Look to the cross, see his grace, marvel at his mercy. I know it’s not easy, but it is possible. It’s about his faithfulness, not ours. That’s pretty comforting.
